Part Time Software Technical Support

Beaver Creek Software is looking for a permanent, part-time technical support representative to work varying times during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. This is not a temporary, summer work, or internship position.

Beaver Creek Software is a leader in medical practice management and billing software specializing in mental and behavioral health. Our software is written for the Windows platform and is used by thousands of customers nationwide.

Duties

Your primary duties will include assisting customers via telephone and email with installing and using our software on stand-alone computers and on local area networks.

Required Skills

  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent written and oral communication ability
  • Ability to work with people in high stress situations
  • Top-notch troubleshooting skills is important
  • Familiarity with PC and networking hardware
  • Technical working knowledgeable about Microsoft Windows
  • Knowledge about DOS and about Mac computers is a plus

Work Environment

This position requires you to work in our downtown Corvallis office though occasional telecommuting may be possible. Beaver Creek Software is a smallĀ  company with a relaxed and comfortable work environment.

You will be provided training on using and supporting our software.

Compensation

Starting pay is $12 to $15 per hour depending on qualifications.
