Backing Up to a Zip™ Disk

This process is equally valid for Zip disks, LS-120™ disks, portable USB drives, or any removable media.

Before you can backup to any removable media, you must tell The THERAPIST the drive letter to use as the target for offline backups:

  1. From the Setup menu, select Preferences > Backup Options.
  2. In the Offline Backup Path type D:\ (where D is the letter corresponding to your drive). If you are not sure which drive letter to use, click in the field with the right mouse or press F2 in the field to select the drive. Be sure to select the "root" or topmost level for the drive.
  3. Click on Ok to save your settings.
  4. Click on the floppy disk icon in the tool bar or select Offline Backup from the File menu.
